Mini Christmas Junk Journals for Gifts

I can't believe that i'm starting to cough again.  Oh No, not again! I'm so paranoid now that i'll get Pleurisy again.  Sooooo Painful!

Yep, that's right! I've been working on mini junk journals for Christmas gifts.  These are purse size. I used napkins to decoupage the fronts.  I love this technique because it is so incredibly easy to do.  I also added little Cupcake liner paperclip embellishments to each.  I just need to figure out how to package them to be given away as Christmas gifts.  I coffee stained most of the pages inside and added some washi tape for Decoration.  I also added a Book page pocket, a corner tuck and 3 index cards for writing on.  I corner punched the index cards with this cool 3 corner punch from Tuesday Morning that i bought.

I'm making ornaments to use as Gift Tags

Well Thanksgiving is over and we are off to Christmas.  The Chaos that comes with Christmas i do not like.  The True Meaning of Christmas, I Love. How do we balance everything? I'm just going to take it one day at a time. I think that my shopping is almost finished. Thank goodness!

These little ornaments i made in just one evening with Dollar Tree picks and misc... stickers and berries.  I thought that these would look beautiful on Christmas gifts this year and the recipient can also place them on their tree once their gift has been opened.  I'm trying to finish my handmade gifts for my  co-workers before our Christmas gathering next Saturday. Yep, we are going to lunch on Dec. 3rd. Let the activities begin. lol! I'm going to take it fairly easy this Holiday season to really enjoy the true meaning of Christmas. At least that is my goal!

I took some Snowflake Ornaments from the dollar tree along with Cut up sprigs of evergreen and berries and hot glued these together.  My friend gave me the purple Poinsettia that she had cut out from some of my Spellbinders dies.  The Snowman and Penguin felt stickers came from Micheals in the childrens department (Creatology). Tiny gifts you can find almost anywhere in the mini tree section.  I added Ribbon, tulle or tinsel to the tops of the ornaments along with some jingle bells.  So easy and so fast to make.

Vintage looking Christmas tree tags

Hi Everyone, I'm still working on some Tags.  I just love watching Jill Norwood on youtube.  She is the Tag queen. lol! I decided to make these Christmas tree tags out of file folders and old hymnal pages then i added strips of the digital paper from iralamijashop called Christmas Wood. The sweet little tags on top of some of my trees was a digital download from Lili of the Valley. The tinsel that i put on the bottoms of some of the trees came from the Target Dollar Spot. All of the Buttons i found in my stash.

I just love these! So Sweet and so simple.

Enjoy your weekend! We here in Indiana went from a high of 77 yesterday to a high of 41 today.  I'm not happy at all about that! lol

Altered book for a friend

I am sooo tired.  I went Christmas shopping yesterday and i think i'm well over half done with my gifts for this Holiday season.  Yippeee!!! I'm Honestly trying to get everything bought and everything made this Month. I just want to have a nice relaxing December without all of the hustle and bustle of stressing about Christmas. 

Anyway, one of my friends lost her best friend about a month ago and she asked me to make a book for her. She is planning on  giving it to her friends Daughter as a memory.

I made a mixed media cover for it that i really like.  Take a look.
