Mixed Media Art Journal page for TTCRD web challenge

With the release of the TTCRD March/April Magazine right around the corner. The new web challenge for TTCRD will be starting. It has a theme of  "Mixed Media" this round so i decided to create a Art Journal page with a bird theme. You only have to be a member of our ning group to play along.

I love mixed media, but never know who to give my projects to that would also appreciate it, so i started this art journal years ago and thought that another page would be fun and it was.

My Daughters horsey Valentine

Hello Everyone, Today i'm sharing my daughters Valentine card that i made and painted her of her horse.  I thought that it turned our cute being both a watercolor painting and a card. More practice painting- Daffodil

I've started some of the Tutorials on Anna Mason's Art School. It is taking me awhile to get in the swing of these tutorials and her technique so i've had to practice a lot. This is the Daffodil that i painted using her photo on the school site. If you want to learn to watercolor i highly recommend these courses, but you have to have time to practice, practice, practice. I really just want to be able to draw and paint cards etc... I'm working on painting some watercolor Valentine cards right now for my family.

Yes my petals are too gray but i don't think that it's that Bad otherwise.
