Bible Art Exodus 34:6

Hi friends, I thought that i'd share another bible art journaling with all of you today. I used the scripture from Exodus 34:6.

"I am Slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness"

As I was thinking about this verse I was trying to make a visual picture in  my mind. I focused on the word "Filled" this time and thought what about an old pump filling a bucket with love and faithfulness."

I found a photo of a pump online and drew it onto my bible page. The bucket and the stones are rubber stamps from Art Impressions. I used my Marvy Uchida markers to color the images after applying clear gesso to the page.

Mitten with Gingerbread man tags

Here are some more of my Christmas tags that I've been making. These I chose to put a gingerbread peeker into a mitten. I think that they are so cute. I love it that i'm so ahead of the Christmas game for next year. 

The Gingerbread comes from a set that I bought a svg file from Teasure box designs. The mitten I just found a template for online and the sentiment is a sticker. Really pretty easy.

My Brother-in-laws Birthday Rooster in alcohol inks

Hi everyone, this is the alcohol ink rooster card that I sent my brother-in-law for his birthday this week. I used alcohol inks from Tim Holtz and Jacquard on yupo paper. I just love this medium and love trying to control it and make textures with it.

Bible Art Psalm 22:29 "Bow Down to HIM"

Hi everyone, I thought that i'd share another bible art journaling page with all of you today. 

"All who go down to the dust will Bow down before him."  Psalm 22:29.

I decided to make a silhouette journaling page. I used my Arteza brush pens to color this in with today and then blended with water. I primed the page first using a Clear Gesso. The verse was hand written except for the stickers that I used for All. 

I have been bible art journaling like a crazy woman lately so  I have several pages that I could share so keep your eyes out for them.

My sons Birthday card with an elk in alcohol inks

Today is my Sons 18th Birthday. Wow that went fast. He's had the privilege of Elk hunting with his Dad this past week and the good news is -They Both shot an elk! Amazing!!!

With that being said.... here is Kole's Birthday card that I used alcohol inks to paint.

A Valentine card

This is my attempt at a shabby chic Valentines day Card.  I made this butterfly using some glittered felt that I found at Hobby Lobby. Added Beads to the center wire that also makes the antennae. The Bling I found and bought from Michaels. The love die I was gifted for winning a challenge. I also used the Vintage paper pack from Hobby Lobby.

MFT Tag Lip balm holders for Valentines day

I Got the My Favorite things dies and pouches for Christmas and thought that they would make good token gifts for Valentines day. The paper I bought from Hobby Lobby called "Vintage Valentine"

I found several Ribbons and fibers in my stash for the tops of the tags

Bible art journaling page using James 1:19

Well I thought it was time for me to get back to the most important thing in life (scripture) and bible art journaling.

This is one of those verses that I always have to remind myself of.

"Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry" James 1:19

I drew the turtle and the snail looking at photo's online

Die cut letters from Whimsy Stamps- They came in a grab bag that I bought for  $10 along with 9 other dies. Just let me say that this was so worth the money and more.
