Sorry that i've missed posting the past couple of days, but once again i have pneumonia. I tell you every time that i get Bronchitis it ends up worse. Sometimes i just feel that i can't win for losing. This is the first time that i've actually had a lung hurt in my back. I can hear the crackles when i breath. I'm on the mend. I hope! Oh well, enough complaining.
Today, i'm going to share a junk journal that has been in progress for weeks.Of course, it is Halloween themed. I just love Halloween!
The Cover i covered with tissue paper and painted it Black. I then added some rub and buff to the the mesh to the front cover. I added a black flower from some trim that i had in my stash. I found this awesome little skeleton at the Dollar tree and hot glued some mesh down and then placed him on top.
On the binding of the book i handmade a charm to hang down the side. The back cover is all covered in tissue paper and black paint like the front. My closure is a Tim Holtz knob and used a hairband.
On the inside of the book,i tried something new to me by binding the book together separately
So in turn, you can pull out the entire inside guts and replace them when you have used the entire book up. I also handmade a booklet which will slide out on the inside cover. The book is bound together using Kraft Tex.
