Window Envelopes for junk journals

I know, it's been awhile. This has been fair week and i feel like i've been running around a lot more than usual. I just want to be home crafting. lol
I still have the sewing machine out and going. lol. Check out my quilted window envelopes for junk journals that i've made. I just started a junk journal that looks really old in remembrance of my Grandmother who lived to be 100 years old. I have so many fond memories of her and so many things that she taught me when i was little.

I distressed regular envelopes for these and then added a die cut window to a distressed index card, printed my quilted/fall  image onto vellum and then placed  a book page behind that. Sewed along all four edges using a zig zag stitch and brown thread and glued down to envelope face.
