More practice painting- Daffodil

I've started some of the Tutorials on Anna Mason's Art School. It is taking me awhile to get in the swing of these tutorials and her technique so i've had to practice a lot. This is the Daffodil that i painted using her photo on the school site. If you want to learn to watercolor i highly recommend these courses, but you have to have time to practice, practice, practice. I really just want to be able to draw and paint cards etc... I'm working on painting some watercolor Valentine cards right now for my family.

Yes my petals are too gray but i don't think that it's that Bad otherwise.

Songthrush bird egg

I've signed up for Anna Masons watercolor painting class and this is what i made the night before last using her reference photo. I love learning her techniques. I'm so happy that i signed up! Now i do have to say that i don't have all of the correct colors of paint in the same brand that she uses to do some of her courses. That isn't stopping me though. I'm making due with what i have and i've ordered a few more. I did paint her daffodil last night but i don't like my version at all. lol. I will not be sharing that.
