Practice, Practice, Practice that's what i'm doing. Water colored card

I really want to learn to watercolor! I've been trying new things, watching youtube videos and taking all of the suggestions that i can get about water coloring. The best part is that i've been drawing my own subjects to watercolor. Practicing that also. 

I thought that i would share a water colored card with all of you today that i drew using this reference photo-Found at Sheepski Designs-Wild Roses (you can purchase your own digital copy there), water color painted and created a card of wild roses.

More Water coloring practice!

As you know i've been continuing to draw and watercolor. My family is getting ready to leave on vacation this week. We are going to Utah and then Montana.  I really am ready to just get away awhile.

I always use a reference photo when i draw if anyone is interested, you can find it HERE.  I'm not good enough yet to draw it on my own. lol. I used Gamsai tambi watercolors to color in the Giraffe. The sentiment is from a recollections stamp set and i stamped and then cut the words out of.

More bible art! Using Psalm 71:20

I saw a kitty like this somewhere on the net and just had to draw it for this Bible art page. I felt that this verse was appropriate for this kitty. I colored the drawing with prisma colored pencils and wrote out the verse. 

Psalm 71:20

" You have allowed me to suffer much hardship.

but you will restore me to Me again

and lift me up from the depths of the Earth."

How many days do we feel this way? For me, many and what a great promise that we will be lifted up again.

Bible Art using Mark 14: 22-25- The Lords Supper

Well we survived Alina's Graduation and her Graduation party.  We had a wonderful time with friends and family this past Sunday.  We Celebrated with pulled pork, Cupcakes, Double Cookie and misc... The sun was shining and the temperature was warm. Thank Goodness! A Big Success! Now i can relax until my son graduates. lol.

I thought that i would share some bible art with all of you today.  Once again i drew the picture and colored it in with my Prisma color pencils. The lettering is my own and i was studying The Last Supper.
