For the Love of Cardmaking

Hi Everyone! It's time for me to get around to a Card to post. Don't you think? I've just been moving along with all of my paper crafts since I've had the privilege of being off work so much lately. Not Complaining. It's REALLY nice to not have to do anything, but run my kids around.

Scrapbooking layout time! Before the baby!

Here i go! Junk journal inside.....

Well since I shared my new junk journal cover with all of you yesterday, I thought that i'd share a few pages with you today. Everything in this book was made by hand or elements that were altered in some way. I even cut the chipboard for the cover and backing. I used my Bind it all to bind the book. All of the pages were coffee stained and dried in the oven. There is a magnetic Bookmark that I made. The Tags were handmade and distressed etc... This journal has a lot of writing space.

I just love the satisfaction of saying "I Created it All"

So in love with making Junk Journals!

I go through phases In my Paper Crafting! I love to make cards, but now I've found I love to everything with paper! My newest addiction is Junk journals! Once you try one, you fall in love. So many techniques and stamps all in one place! Most of my junk journals are made with Coffee Stained paper that I make and bake myself. I've now found,( thanks to a friend) that I love the feel and result of using Tracing paper within my junk journal. I find things laying around and think, oh i'll just put this in my junk journal.

On Saturday, I posted the pictures of all of my tags that I created for this junk journal to add in the pockets and Tucks. I've figured out that Gel pens work best for me to write on the coffee stained pages. I'm always looking for something new to make or do. I handmade all of my Paperclip embellishments. I've started making my own Magnetic Book marks to add. The list goes on and as I find new things i'll try to share in a post here.

Of course I will always make cards in addition to Scrapbook pages, Art Journal pages, Cards and Junk journals.

Tags, Tags and oh more tags!

When working on Junk journals, I use a lot of tags inside of the pockets and Tucks so today, I decided to post all of the tags that I handmade yesterday. I made all of these just from scrap pieces of Manila file folders that you can find anywhere. I bought mine at the Dollar General a couple months back to make junk journals with and now i'm using what is leftover for Tags.
