My Project of the week-Do It Yourself Stamped Ribbon

Hi Everyone, Deonna here. Sorry that i'm posting so late today.  I was called into work unexpectedly so i'm running behind.  Today is my day for Project of the week at The House that Stamps Built for Repeat Impressions stamps and i want to show you how to stamp your own ribbon for cards or projects.

Supplies used here:

Twill tape or Silk Ribbon ***To get ribbon to lay flat you may need to iron it.
StazOn ink in Jet Black, Blazing Red and Cotton White
Acrylic Blocks
Repeat Impression Stamps:

1.  Take your Twill tape or silk Ribbon and lay flat on a piece of Scrap paper.

2.  Choose the color of StazOn ink that you want to use and the desired Rubber stamp (s) that you want to use first.

3.. Mount your stamp on an acrylic block and ink the stamp with the ink pad turned upside down on top of the stamp.***Make sure that your stamp is completely covered with ink.

4.  After inking the stamp, pick it up and flip it over so that the rubber is on the bottom facing the Ribbon.  Line the stamp with the top of the ribbon and stamp the image onto the ribbon.  Make sure to press down firmly and evenly down the entire stamp. Photo 6 and 7

5.  Repeat Steps 1-4 with a different stamp or color of ink. Photo's 8-9

6.  You now have a beautiful stamped Ribbon to use on your projects. Photo's 10-11

thank you for stopping by and taking a look~!!
