Thinking of you- Large Mixed Media Tag

Hi Friends! 

Today i've made a handmade tag to show, Mixed Media Style. This is a 3 1/8" x 6 1/4" piece of manila file folder made into a tag.  I coffee stained the tag before i began.   I started out with a Recollections Stencil and my Lindy's Spray in a Drop dead Gorgeous green. I then added some modeling paste and mixed some Vintage Photo ink  to make a Brown paste.  Using my Tim Holtz Stencil i added that with a pallette knife. Colored Some Cheesecloth with a yellow Lindy's spray and Mod podged it to the back/top of the Tag. I used some Stampin'up stamps in flowers to stamp in the background using my brown archival ink pad.  Added some Green Washi tape here and there. Colored the Flower and petals from Pickled Potpourri called Grand Botanical with my copic Markers and fussy cut them.  Pop Dotted the flower itself and add the petals. For the Stem of the flower i used some Raffia and colored it with a copic marker and glued on.  Then i added the petals. Stamped, cut and inked the edges of my sentiment and adhered to the tag. Put glue all around the tag and in the center of my flower using Art Glitter.  For the Ribbon i took white seam binding and dyed it yellow.

That's it ! So much fun!

Happy BEE-Day

Today is the first day of school for my kids! I know, one day and then off for the weekend. Who makes this schedule anyway! lol! Oh well, my son wanted to ride the bus to school this morning so he got up with the Chickens to do so and my daughter still wants a ride.
