My Very first Altered Bottle! Witches' Brew

I found this awesome bottle in my sons bedroom while i was gathering the trash and couldn't resist using it for an altered project. This was so much fun to do.  

First i covered my entire bottle in purple Mod Podge and added scrunched up tissue paper all over it and then covered it with more Mod Podge. I then addes some cheesecloth all around in various places. I found this awesome Witches Brew Label on Pinterest and couldn't resist using it.  I then covered the purple with Black Metallic Lustre from DecoArt. I wrapped some black fibers around the top of the bottle.  I painted the tag black with acrylic paint and added a spider web using my Tim Holtz Stamp and white pigment ink. Used my E6000 to glue on my spider and was finished.

Spooky Altered Coffin!

Now this was a fun project!!! I found this coffin box at our local Dollar Tree and Thought, " I could alter this to what i want it to look like" I Bought it and did just that.  I love getting messy! Mixed Media Art is just so much fun.  I have no idea why it took me so long to get started. lol!
