Heartfelt Sympathy card

The weekend has finally arrived! What a lovely one so far.  I wanted to share a quick card that I made for a dear friend this past week. Sympathy cards are never easy. This one is just sweet and simple.

Signature one of my Personal Junk Journal

If you follow my blog you know that I posted the cover and back of this journal yesterday. To view yesterdays post go HERE. Today, i'm posting Signature one of five. I wanted this book to be for my personal creative ideas so I do have a lot more writing space on the inside of this one with a few added touches.

 Opening Pages

I used the nest from a Ephemera's Vintage Garden set called Secret Garden. The Bird on the left is from a Martha Stewart Rubber stamp set that I own.  I haven't decided whether or not i'm going to color the Bird or not yet.

 Old Dictionary Pages work great in junk Journals. This is another image from the Secret Garden Set.

 Another Bird stamp from Martha Stewart on the right. I colored the flower with my Big Brush markers from Faber Castell.

The Bird Egg image is from The Tim Holtz Wallflower Vellum collection that I also covered the cover and Back of this journal with.  It is at the bottom of a Envelope opening at the side. The Bird nest on the left is a Stamp from Stampin'up.

I added old hymnal pages throughout that I had coffee stained and baked to dry. The stamps on these pages are also Stampin'up.

All of the pages throughout this journal were coffee Stained. The Feather stamp is also from a Stampin'up set.

This is a Coffee Stained Index card and the vellum creates a Pocket at the bottom.

Shabby Birdie Collection.

 

This tag on the Right was created using the Vellum and the Ephemera.

Folded scrap piece of paper with Stampin'up bird nest stamp.

I handmade this magnetic bird tab using some of my Ephemera and added a egg stamp.

Same tab as above but the other side.  Magnet holding it together.
