POTW for Repeat Impressions stamps- Tissue Paper Stamping collage

Hi all of you Repeat Impression fans! Deonna here posting my Project of the Week.

This is a pretty simple technique, but i love using it to collage my Junk Journal covers.

"Tissue Paper Stamping collage"

Supplies

White Tissue paper

Black Archival Ink or Stazon

Mod Podge

Mixed media Foam Sponge

Acrylic Blocks

Repeat Impressions stamps- 1711-K, Lupine, 1713-J, Dandelions, 904-L, Daffodils, 4313-K, Sunflower, 1317-L, Vase of Tulips, 912-K, Tulip Bouquet, 1320-M, Spring Blossoms, 9001-L, Butterfly (lg), 9009-F, Butterfly (sm)

Take your Tissue Paper, Black ink and Desired Stamps that you've chosen to use.  Stamp onto the white tissue paper with the Archival ink and stamps all over. 

Take your fingers and tear each image out of the tissue paper.

***In this project I've chosen to collage a large manila envelope front that i've already prepared for my next envelope Junk Journal.  You could also use this technique for making a card or other project.  I recommend sealing the base of the project with Mod Podge or Gesso before collaging on top to seal the surface and prevent Bleed through. 

Take your envelope cover/Card, Mod Podge, Mixed Media sponge and my torn out stamped tissue paper. Add a layer of Mod Podge directly on the surface of the cover and then add one of your tissue pieces at a time over the mod Podge.  Continue to do this until you achieve your desired look.

Set the project and allow to completely Dry.

Next color the stamped images as desired.  I chose to color mine with Inktense Pencils. Your cover is then complete.

Bird Themed large Envelope Junk Journal with Mixed media cover

Hello! Happy weekend!
Today i've decided to share my newest Junk journal that i finally finished.  I've been working on it off and on for awhile, but finally decided that i'd call it done! There is a total of 40 pages but i'm only sharing a few.

Most of the images were found at Ephemera's Vintage Garden and Pinterest.

The Cover was created with Mixed Media.  A Napkin was used for the base cover and Mod Podged onto the envelope. Flourish Stencil from Recollections with Modeling paste, PITT Pens, Hymnal pages, Green Lindy's Gang Sprays, Wooden Bird cage distressed, all front also covered with Inka Gold.

Hi all, I 've been trying some new techniques and decided to use some of my spare vellum.

Such an easy technique and so fun. I've also been practicing some lettering so that i can make my own sentiments. It's going to take a lot of practice buy i've always enjoyed writing.

My Mother in Laws Mothers Day card

Hi followers! Today i have another mixed Media Mother's day card that i would like to share.  This is the one i made for my Mother-In-Law. I'll bet you'll never guess her favorite color, yes Purple.
