Project of the week-Tutorial On Stamping with Liquid Applique

Today is my day to present a project of the week at The House that Stamps Built for Repeat Impressions Stamps. I've chosen to write a tutorial on:

Stamping with liquid Applique

Supplies used:

Dark colored Cardstock- I chose DCWV textured in brown
Liquid Applique- I used  White from Marvy Uchida
Rubber Stamp- I used A Repeat Impressions-Beer Mug and Beer Foam from
the “Bottoms Up Series”
Heat Tool

1.  Stamp Beer mug with black ink onto brown cardstock.

2.  Using your  Beer foam stamp, apply liquid applique to the raised
areas of the stamp by using a daubing motion.  After covering the
image, stamp onto your Beer Mug stamp. See picture.

3.  After allowing your liquid applique to dry for an hour or two,
using your heat tool , heat set the liquid applique image. This should
make it raised and puffy. *Do not overheat! Liquid applique turns
brown when scorched.

4.  You can then leave the image as is or add more liquid applique to fill in the open space areas. Your beer mug is then ready to use on a card!
This is an example that I posted a while back using this technique
