Alcohol inking- So much fun!

I've broke out those alcohol inks that i've had in my drawer for awhile. As you probably know if you follow me, i go through stages in my creativity. lol. 

To create this background i used my Tim Holtz alcohol inks. I first layed down the color and then stamped the flowers over the top. I had to do it that way because even though i was using Staz on ink they would smear from the alcohol. The stamps that i used i picked up at the Heirloom Pro show a few weeks ago called "Forever in time" along with my Tim Holtz flowers that i had in my stash.

After watching a video on Mixed Media from You tube i was inspired to make another art journal page. I haven't made one of these in awhile and thought that it would be fun to post today.   .I love all of these Tim Holtz stamps of Ravens and they worked perfectly for this page.

Here i go! Junk journal inside.....

 

Well since I shared my new junk journal cover with all of you yesterday, I thought that i'd share a few pages with you today.  Everything in this book was made by hand or elements that were altered in some way.  I even cut the chipboard for the cover and backing.  I used my Bind it all to bind the book. All of the pages were coffee stained and dried in the oven.  There is a magnetic Bookmark that I made. The Tags were handmade and distressed etc... This journal has a lot of writing space.

 I just love the satisfaction of saying "I Created it All"

Fathers Day! First card finally finished

It seems like I can't seem to get ahead of the Holidays or Birthdays.  I'm always cutting it close. lol!

Signature #4 of my Personal junk Journal

 

I Finished Signature #4 of 5 in my Personal Junk Journal last night and thought that i'd share today. I used Multiple stamp sets and Ephemera Sets in this signature. I've previously posted the first 3 signatures but, this one is new. All pages were coffee stained and baked for the book previously.

 

This is the Cover, since showing it the last time I've added a faux metal embellishment to the front.

 

I handmade a magnetic Bookmark on the right of this page and stamped a Ticket using a Stampers Anonymous stamp from the set.

Another File Folder Album- Masculine Style!

It's been a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! We had a wedding on Saturday and a cookout on Sunday. Best of all, we have nothing to do today but stay home!!! I am such a home body! I have tons of cards and tutorials to complete before our vacation.
