Birds, Bird nests etc... I love it all!

Hi Everyone, i have a bird card today to share. I just love spring and summer. I love to watch the birds build their nests, so i thought that i'd use this as a theme for a card.

Mixed Media Art Journal

It has been awhile since i did anything in my personal Art Journal, mixed Media Style.

I'm loving the Spring weather that we are having here in Indiana so i wanted to do create some

thing with a lot of color and personality. 

I did a watercolor background for this page and used Whipped Spackle by Faber-Castell and stencils to give them texture.  I colored the butterflies and flowers with Gelatos and then outlined them with a black PITT pen by Faber-Castell. I then took some tulle and used Mod Podge to attach it to the surface.
I used some Tim Holtz background stamps and some archival ink to stamp in various places.  The Word Beauty was cut out with my sizzix dies and black Cardstock. I then added some Whipped Spackle around the page.

Look at what i made!!! Mixed media Cereal Box bookcover

My BFF and i were crafting the other day and she had this wonderful idea to make a cover for my Tim Holtz Stamps using a Cereal Box. I thought that i'd share what i have completed so far.  

I still have to add the holes for the binding rings, but it is coming along nicely.

I'm so ready for the weekend.  I've had a cold or something, my throat is killing me and i feel awful, but i'm going to work again. I'm so tired!

Mixed Media Scrapbook page

I've been scrapbooking some photo's for a Friend and i thought that i'd share with you my latest page.

I just get in these moods to get messy, so that is what i did.

I hauled out my Molding Paste and Stencils and made this texture fade background.I also used molding paste for the butterflies on the top. I mixed some of my molding paste with my purple silk paing and it workded perfectly. The flowers i found in my stash so i applied gesso, silk paint and inka-gold to the edges. I cut a piece of filigree in half and glued on top.  Added some fern die-cuts using a memory box die. I added some paint and inka-gold to my butterflies and a few gold and purple sequins.

How dare i get old!!!!

Today is my 44th Birthday! Oh My! Where did those years go? 

I've been experimenting with My Goosebumps Spray that I've had in a drawer and never used so I thought that it was time.
I love to make cards with Chickens and found this awesome chicken wire stencil and just couldn't resist using it.
I think that i'm going to create a tutorial soon on how to use Goosebumps so stay tuned.
